Moomoo
Moomoo is an original calf character IP I created, together with his friend Piggy.
Across three courses at Burg I used Moomoo as a recurring motif to explore different aspects of design and technology: from concept and storytelling to character animation and VFX compositing.
This page presents the three course outcomes as one coherent project:
a character IP developed through illustration, animation and VFX.

01.Moomoo & Piggy Sticker Packs
Within the theme “Frück-Freude oder Glück” I developed Moomoo & Piggy as a light-hearted yet slightly absurd duo. The project resulted in two WeChat sticker packs with 32 illustrated and animated stickers that capture their everyday emotions and quirky interactions.
My Role
- Original IP and character design for Moomoo & Piggy
- Illustration style design and animation production for 32 stickers
Results
2 WeChat sticker packs / 32 animated stickers
100,000+ sticker uses and 5,000+ downloads on WeChat

02.Moomoo Dance Animation
In this course I translated Moomoo into a fully rigged 3D character and created a series of short animation exercises. The focus was on body mechanics, timing and expressive performance.
My Role
Built and refined the 3D rig of Moomoo in Blender
Animated four Charleston dance cycles
Animated a greeting motion
Created a lipsync animation to dialogue
Animated a moonwalk loop
Animated a skip movement cycle
Results
- A library of 8 polished character animation clips for Moomoo
- Used in class screenings and as animation tests for future projects

03.Moomoo VFX Shorts
This project explored how Moomoo could appear in real-world footage. I produced three short VFX clips by combining live-action video with 3D animation.
My Role
Modelled and prepared the 3D Moomoo asset for VFX use
Planned and shot live-action footage to match the intended 3D action
Performed camera tracking in Blender for all shots
Integrated and animated Moomoo in each scene
Composited lighting, shadows and color to match the real environment
Results
Three short VFX videos featuring Moomoo integrated into live-action footage
Demonstrated consistent tracking, scale and interaction between 3D character and real-world scenes
